Graphic Designer

This role would suit a recent graduate or someone with 1-2 years experience in a design role. They should be an enthusiastic, team player who will bring new, innovative and creative solutions to projects and be able to communicate them effectively with clear, eye catching layouts and typography. They will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to build on good relationships with clients and suppliers.

The role involves assisting the Senior Graphic Designer to deliver design support for development projects such as reports, illustration and mapping, websites, leaflets, presentations and public exhibitions as well as supporting the company’s marketing efforts through a variety of media including brochure design and updating our website and social media sites. The role will often involve working to very tight deadlines. 

The chosen candidate will be involved with developing document templates and helping to build our in-house photo library.   

They should have a keen interest in the built environment and have good photography skills as well as being fully conversant with Adobe CS, especially InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash and Dreamweaver. Experience of producing mapping material and using AutoCad would be beneficial, although not essential. They should hold a BA(Hons) 2.1 or above in Graphic Design or similar.
