We are looking to appoint a Consultant with strong numeracy and analytical skills to work within our London office. You would be involved in a variety of private and public sector projects to support the development planning work of NLP and to advise clients independently on retail/town centre, housing and economics studies. Workload will be wide ranging, but is likely to comprise retail and town centre studies, economic impact assessments of major developments, property market studies, and socio-economic analysis, housing analysis, demographic forecasting and other research. You would also have a key role in progressing NLP’s innovation agenda.
Candidates are likely to have around one years experience, with a background in planning, property or economic development. You will have, or be working towards, a professional planning qualification and corporate membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute. We require a minimum of a 2.1 honours in your first degree. Core competencies for the post include excellent report writing, presentational, analytical and numeracy skills. Experience in consultancy and/or a good commercial focus will be an advantage.
