Even torrential rain was not enough to dampen the spirits at the 2nd Kevin Davy Memorial Football Tournament in Newcastle, organised by NLP.
11 teams coming from as far afield as Stoke on Trent, battled the weather as well as each other, with the Newcastle Office of Turner & Townsend ultimately emerging victorious. On the serious side of the day £860 was raised in aid of the Samaritans.
NLP Senior Associate Director Andy Groves said,
We are delighted that despite the weather this year’s event was a tremendous success. It was great to see people from across the development industry and Kevin's family enjoy the day in aid of such a good cause.
