On behalf of Taylor Wimpey UK Limited, NLP has secured the approval of outline planning permission to provide 650 dwellings, new local pub, shop and associated works on land at Copenhall East, Crewe, subject to the completion of a Section 106 Agreement. The development is considered to be the largest greenfield housing development to be approved in the North West since the recession.
NLP’s role comprised providing strategic advice on this site to Taylor Wimpey before co-ordinating the submission of the application and preparing a suite of documents including an Affordable Housing Statement and Open Space Assessment.
We are extremely pleased to have secured approval for this much needed housing development. We have worked closely with Officers at Cheshire East Council to deliver a development to meet the Council's shortfall in housing, provide much needed affordable housing and bring significant economic investment into Crewe.
