On behalf of Curtain Superstore (Blaydon) Ltd, NLP has secured planning permission for the change of use of the former Arco factory on the Chainbridge Industrial Estate, Blaydon to retail, manufacturing and café uses.
Curtain Superstore currently retail from two units on the Industrial Estate, whilst manufacturing curtains from a third location - the former Arco factory. To consolidate the business and reduce operating costs, Curtain Superstore proposed to relocate their existing businesses at Blaydon into the former factory, leaving the existing units to be re-let to other retailers.
