NLP Director, Steven Butterworth and Associate Director, Nia Wilkinson attended Spenhill’s ‘start on site’ launch party for the hotly anticipated New Square development in West Bromwich town centre.
During the buzzing reception at The Public (the town's creative, community, cultural and business space hub), Spenhill's Development Manager, Jane McFarland, took to the stage to thank all of those involved with the project over the past 14 years. Jane gave special thanks to two people involved in the project throughout: Nick Bubalo, Sandwell Council's Area Director for Regeneration and Economy, and NLP's Nia Wilkinson, for their vision, tenacity and commitment, leading to the planning permissions that had enabled construction to start on site at the end of October. As a token of her appreciation, Jane awarded Nick with a hard hat and Nia with a pair of shoes!
