Anna Prescott, NLP Senior Planner and Chair of RTPI Cymru, visited North Wales last week in order to attend the RTPI Cymru Spring Anna gave an introductory presentation at the conference in Llandudno, which was themed around Planning for Economic Renewal. Senior Planners Megan Lewis and Colin Robinson of the NLP Manchester office also attended.
The President’s visit also included a walking tour of Dolgellau hosted by Snowdonia National Park officers, which showcased the positive effects on the local built environment of the Dolgellau Townscape Heritage Initiative.
Anna Prescott commented, “My visit to North Wales has been very interesting. The conference highlighted that planning can assist in economic renewal and this was plain to see in Dolgellau.”
