NLP has secured planning permission for the siting of 375 static caravans and lodges, together with a leisure hub, at Witton Castle Country Park, County Durham.
Committee members voted unanimously to approve the proposals, noting the £3million per annum contribution to the rural west Durham local economy. Committee also endorsed Shorewood Leisure’s improvements to the site which contains 14 listed buildings and structures.
This planning permission provides a framework for future investment at Witton Castle. It has been a pleasure working with NLP, who professionally managed the wider consultancy team, negotiations with the Council and secured a timely consent.
