On behalf of the Greater Manchester West Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust, NLP has secured planning permission for a replacement Adolescent Unit on the Prestwich Hospital complex in Bury.
The proposed facility will provide a modern specialist assessment and treatment service, and education facilities, for 12-18 year olds and their families from across Greater Manchester, South Cumbria and Lancashire.
NLP provided planning strategy advice throughout the project and co-ordinated the planning submission, which included a Crime Prevention Statement.
NLP Director, Michael Watts comments:-
We are delighted to have secured planning permission for the replacement adolescent unit on behalf of the Trust. We have worked closely with Bury Council to deliver another key mental health and social care service for the Greater Manchester and North West Region.
