NLP has been appointed to undertake a future population, household projections and housing needs study for the districts of Lichfield, Tamworth and Cannock Chase in southern Staffordshire.
In line with the County's motto 'the knot unites', NLP is charged with identifying housing need across the three districts as part of a joined up and cohesive LDF evidence base. NLP’s work will involve SHMA updates and bespoke runs of our HEaDROOM housing model.
The appointment is the latest in a long line of HEaDROOM commissions undertaken by NLP and continues the recognition by both the public and private sector of the robustness of the model and reliability of its results.
This appointment will form a key part of the evidence base for Lichfield, Tamworth and Cannock Chase's emerging Core Strategies and will comprise a robust analysis capable of withstanding strong scrutiny. It ensures that NLP maintains its position as a market leader in housing requirements work for both the public and private sectors.
