NLP will begin a Planning Inquiry in March on behalf of Cavanna Homes seeking to secure consent for 155 family homes in Torbay.
NLP are preparing to go head to head with Torbay Council over a development located at a key entrance point to Torbay. After a 25 year saga that has seen Torbay Council support housing development and then back down from supporting any principle of development, the appeal now boils down to yet another test of 5-year housing land availability, linked to landscape and ecological issues.
Hopefully now after years of policy changes arising from local political changes, Cavanna will be able to see completion of its Scotts Meadow scheme with further housing to accompany the successful Willows District Centre.
