NLP has secured planning permission and listed building consent for a new Medium Secure Unit (MSU) at St Bernard's Hospital. This will form part of a new forensic medium secure campus and will help to safeguard the hospital's future.
This first phase of development at the estate is essential to provide enhanced clinical accommodation and necessary so that unsuitable parts of the listed estate can be vacated. The next phase of development is to convert the Trust's redundant listed buildings to provide residential accommodation.
Working closely with the London Borough of Ealing we are delighted to have secured consent for the MSU and executed the section 106 agreement within 11 weeks of having first submitted the planning application. This is an important project for the West London Mental Health NHS Trust and will deliver an enhanced clinical environment for both staff and service users.
