A death defying 127ft unique head first inverted drop, twists and turns through apocalyptic devastation, complete destruction…not the usual start to a town planning story…
Last year NLP gained planning permission for a new rollercoaster at THORPE PARK; the UK’s first winged rollercoaster and the tallest of its kind in Europe. The coaster has recently been completed and test runs are being carried out for THE SWARM. The wing design suspends riders on either side of the track creating a dramatic flight experience through the themed devastation area, surrounded by water to create a truly terrifying experience.
THE SWARM represents the development of the first major ride following approval of a Medium Term Development Plan that we secured for THORPE PARK. Over several years we have helped THORPE PARK gain permission for the major rides and attractions such as Stealth, Colossus, Nemesis Inferno and now THE SWARM that have promoted THORPE PARK and created a leading visitor attraction.
