Welsh Passports and Planning…

December 13, 2011

Staff from NLP's Cardiff office attended the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) Cymru Annual Dinner on Friday 18 November, with guests from Redrow Homes, Bullock Construction, Coastal Housing Group, AECOM, United Welsh and C.W.Architects. Attendees were entertained by an after dinner speech from Jasper Rees, who retold his story of his quest to get a Welsh passport!

NLP sponsored the awards which saw Igloo's Porth Teigr regeneration project pick up the RTPI Cymru Planning Award. Commendations were given to the Vale of Glamorgan Council’s Llantwit Major Town Centre Regeneration and RCT Home’s Open Space project. Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council’s Gurnos town centre regeneration was highly commended.

NLP was proud to sponsor the prize giving at the RTPI Cymru Annual Dinner and attendees enjoyed catching up with old friends as well as making new ones at this great event.
