NLP secured planning permission for a new UK Headquarters building for American Express. The proposals involve the creation of approximately 40,000 sqm of office development immediately adjacent to the Company’s existing building, at the heart of Brighton’s Edward Street Quarter.
NLP provided town planning advice on this strategically important project, overseeing the planning application process and co-ordinating liaison with the Council over a 12 month period. The success of the application will enable the creation of a new business landmark within the City and signals American Express’ commitment to both Brighton and the South East.
