Following a Public Inquiry, NLP obtained planning permission for a major mixed use development at Doon Street, London.
The proposed development comprised a community sports and leisure centre, along with housing and commercial uses.
The application was ‘called in’ for determination by the Secretary of State despite ‘resolutions to grant’ permission from Lambeth Council and the Greater London Assembly. NLP coordinated Coin Street Community Builders' case at Inquiry, giving planning evidence, and instructing Counsel directly.
NLP also obtained planning permission for a new education and office building and headquarters for Rambert Dance Company on another part of the Doon Street site.
