NLP has advised the Knebworth House Education and Preservation Trust (KHEPT) for the past fifteen years on town planning matters and measures to raise funding to complete the repair of the Grade II* listed building and registered historic garden. This work has included the preparation of an application for Heritage Lottery Funding, a Conservation Plan for the house and gardens and a successful English Heritage Section 3A grant which enabled repair works to Knebworth House to the value of £1.4 million to be undertaken. Through representations to the various local and other plans NLP have raised the prospects of land held at Junction 7 becoming allocated as a strategic employment site.
Approvals have also been secured for a new Radio Station (for Hert FM) a visitor centre, Dino Park and other leisure uses all within the historic park and garden.
