NLP assessed the strategic need for a new private care Acquired Brain Injury Unit to serve West London. This involved a review of existing facilities in the area, consideration of Department of Health policy initiatives for such treatment, extensive consultation with a range of healthcare providers and other stakeholders in the area and estimating future levels of accidental brain injuries based on population forecasts and average incidence of such accidents. This study was used to support a planning application for a new facility.
