Prologis Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal

NLP has advised on the development of Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal (DIRFT) since 1991, originally securing planning permission for approximately a 400,000 m2, major rail-based distribution centre and rail port terminal near the M1J18 in Daventry in 1995.  NLP obtained planning permission for a 180,000 m2 extension in 2005, with DIRFT now one of the country's most successful rail freight interchanges.

NLP is currently advising Aviva, BT and Prologis on a further extension of the facility - Phase III, providing approximately 714,000m2 of rail served distribution buildings. This proposal will be one of the early applications to be considered by the Infrastructure Planning Commission.
