NLP was brought in to assist Quinn Glass by giving expert planning evidence at a call-in inquiry into proposals to vary an existing planning permission for the development of a glass bottle manufacturing and filling plant at Elton.
NLP co-ordinated the submission of a full planning application to Cheshire West & Chester Council for the development including an Environmental Statement and public consultation exercise.
Following the grant of detailed planning permission, NLP has been responsible for discharging conditions and securing additional consents to procure the implementation of this highly sustainable development where glass bottles are both manufactured and filled on site and where the transport of raw materials is being facilitated by rail to reduce HVG movements on local roads.
