A masterplan for an urban extension on the south-eastern edge of Rhyl, including a new school, community centre around 300 houses and areas of open space .
The background assessment comprised an appraisal of the character of Rhyl, a contextual analysis of the site and surrounding area, policy overview and a landscape assessment. Ecological and transportation studies also fed into the design development.
