NLP is advising on the planning implications of a major sports and leisure village, which will be the largest development in Malta’s history.
Economic Justification
NLP provided an economic report to the Maltese Government to justify the proposed retail, leisure and sports complex. This assessed the impacts of increased visitors and spending on the Maltese economy and highlighted the opportunity presented by the development to extend the sports tourism offer in Malta.
Moving Forward
Future work will include inputs into the Environmental and Socio-Economic Impact Assessment and ongoing strategic planning and economic advice to the development team.
