NLP secured planning permission for UK’s first “Racino” together with enlarged hotel and conferencing facilities at Wolverhampton Racecourse.
The development comprised a casino, additional horse racing facilities and a 116 bedroom extension to a Holiday Inn hotel including new leisure facilities, and conference suite.
NLP provided the overall planning strategy and led the Client’s team through the planning application and referral process. We also prepared a suite of reports to accompany the application, which considered the planning, green belt, regeneration and leisure aspects of the proposal.
