Set sail for ‘Nelson's Ship in a Bottle’

NLP has submitted a planning application for ‘Nelson's Ship in a Bottle' artwork to Greenwich Council.

The artwork by Anglo-Nigerian Yinka Shonibare MBE, features a 1:30 replica of HMS Victory inside a giant bottle, and has been installed on the fourth plinth in Trafalgar Square for the past 18 months. It is proposed that the artwork is relocated to a new site in front of the new Sammy Ofer Wing at the National Maritime Museum in the heart of the Maritime Greenwich World Heritage Site.
