Supporting schools

NLP has a long track record of supporting schools and local education authorities in their development programmes. Our work varies from analysis of potential sites to obtaining permission for new and extended schools and the preparation of Planning Briefs to guide the redevelopment of new school sites and surplus land.

We have recently prepared planning briefs for the redevelopment of twelve secondary school sites in Waltham Forest, and obtained planning permission for the development of several new schools including at Sedgehill in LB Lambeth and a new Community School in South Shields.

Higher education

We also advise universities and colleges on their development strategies. Whether the prepration of masterplans to guide the development of new research or administration facilities or advice on student accommodation, our Education team is well placed to assist the higher education sector.
